College Athletic Trainers' Society launches feature-rich site

VALDOSTA, GA — On January 16, 2007, the College Athletic Trainers’ Society (CATS) unveiled their new website at http://www.collegeathletictrainer.org.

The new site replaces the older information with a professional, feature-rich site which will better acquaint stakeholders with membership benefits and the organization’s mission and goals, and provide greater benefit to CATS members. In addition to the new contemporary design, the new site provides:

  • Career Center featuring a job board with postings free to members
  • News headlines from other athletic training related sources
  • Easy access to online newsletters and news releases
  • CATS Blog to provide a way for members and non-members to discuss current athletic training related issues
  • Online symposium registration and electronic payment
  • At-a-glance membership status and renewal links with electronic payment option
  • More visible sponsor banners
  • Regular opinion polls for members to express their opinions
  • E-mail Blast integration and more.

According to CATS President Josephine Lee, the CATS website is vital to the organization's continued growth. "Our website is a window to our organization. The goal was to present a professional site with functionality for our members. We hope the new presentation of our site will show our members the vision and anticipated growth in store for CATS," Lee said.

Lee also feels XPRT Creative was a great choice for this project. "We are extremely pleased with the professionalism, creativity, prompt service and personal sense of ownership XPRT Creative brings to our website. They took the time to listen to our ideas and developed a site that met our needs. We compared their service to other companies and found uniqueness in each of their client's website. It was the personal attention and good value that lead us to XPRT Creative," she added.

XPRT Creative will also be providing additional publication design services throughout the coming year to further CATS branding efforts.
