Integrity. Service. Quality. XPRT Creative specializes in creating visually appealing printed publications, websites, web applications and logos which enhance our clients' branding efforts. We also work with public relations and marketing professionals to create designs and publications for their clients.

XPRT Creative Team
XPRT Creative team leaders have over 49 years of combined experience. We met working at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico, where we were responsible for university branding and creating specialty publications for departments. We soon found that our work ethic, values and goals were very similar, and we decided to partner to offer our services to others. We know there is a strong need for this type of service in our region and around the country, and we know we can help organizations and individuals with their design and programming needs.
Our mission statement reads:

Team Leaders
Jennifer Poyer

Jennifer has been involved with creating publications since 1990. She brings strong copy writing and editing to the team, and has been creating Web sites regularly since 1994. Jennifer studied at Eastern New Mexico University and earned a Communications degree with emphasis in PR and Professional / Technical Writing. Interestingly enough, Jennifer has been an Extra Class licensed Amateur Radio Operator (she's a real Ham) since she was 11 years old; her call sign is NE0M. She is also a former NCAA II Basketball and Volleyball All-American — setting numerous school records in both sports. She currently resides just outside of Valdosta, Georgia. Read Jennifer's Blog
David Ortega

Dave is our lead designer, and was carrying around crayons before he could walk. His love for design, art and all things artistic has given him the ability to design for many different audiences. Dave's designs bring a strong individuality to the XPRT Creative team, and his push to always learn the newest technologies will continue to keep XPRT ahead of the pack. He earned his degree from ENMU in 2003, and is currently working on a supplemental degree in Art Direction at the Creative Circus. Dave resides in Atlanta, GA.
Wanda Newberry

Wanda has a strong background in print media, with more than 21 years experience working for newspapers, publishing and working with photography. She has a knack for design and finishing projects that adds an extra dimension to the XPRT Creative team, and is currently a graphic designer for ENMU. Wanda also maintains all bookkeeping records including billing and processing payments. Wanda resides in Portales, New Mexico.

Mike is the newest member of the XPRT Team. Founder and owner of Crest Innovative Design Group, Mike is continually pushing the envelope to develop faster, stronger and more flexible web applications for our clients. His energy, enthusiasm and passion for web development is second to none. Our lead tech guru on staff, Mike simply gets it done.
Tracy Simmons

Tracy writes. She writes well. She writes all kinds of things well. Tracy has been in the newsroom since she was 17 years old and currently works as a reporter in Connecticut. She has a BS in print journalism, an MA in communication. Check out Tracy's site.
Richard Salas

Richard "Rico" Salas is a talented, award-winning shutterbug, available to take customized photos for your project in New Mexico and Texas panhandle. His photography is not only high quality, but also very creative and made to effectively reach your chosen target audience. He provided photography services for ENMU recruiting publications and the university's website, http://www.enmu.edu. Many times, his photos speak louder than any words on the page, and his work is definitely worth a second look.
