Valdosta State University Athletics
Currently, VSU boasts one of the top NCAA II Athletic Programs in the nation. Over the past few years, VSU has won national championships in several sports, and continues to head for the playoffs in nearly every sport, every year. It is imperative for a program of this caliber to have a website that accurately portrays the excellence and achievement continually coming from these teams.
Our challenges with this project involved the sheer scope of it (over 2500 pages and growing daily), along with the task of creating it to be manageable by a small sports information staff of two. The Web 2.0 content management system is customized to accommodate this need, and was built to make future upgrades and redesigns a much simpler undertaking. Go Blazers!
College Athletic Trainers' Society (CATS)
CATS is a national organization founded in 1992 dedicated to enhancing healthcare for the intercollegiate student-athlete and quality of life for the college athletic trainer. On January 16, 2007, we launched CATS 2.0, the newest website design with a complete overhaul of site structure and a very modern look, professional look. The site boasts a secure member login area, a job board, an online newsletter, a content management system and many other really cool site features. It is definitely worth a look. Our main goals with the new site were to create a modern site using the distinctive CATS seal, promote the use of consistent terminology and design throughout the site, and add a content management system to simplify site maintenance. Our CATS XPRT Maintenance Agreement allows us to be more involved with their overall branding efforts, including creating publications, writing press releases, providing site testing and upgrades, and monitoring site statistics to assure this site will continue to be a solid resource for CATS members and site users.
El Rancho
Foods
El Rancho De Los Garcia's Food Products are winning awards. They came to us with a need for some publications, a trade show design and an ecommerce site ... a site that would not only highlight their products, but also share the strong New Mexico traditions of their product history with the world. More and more people are finding out about this hidden treasure of salsas and sauces, and if you like Mexican food - these are among the best. Our personal favorite? The Green Chile Sauce - mmmmm. A real taste of New Mexico Tradición.
As part of our consultation with El Rancho De Los Garcia's, we are assisting them with the creation of their brand manual to govern the use of their logo, name, verbiage and other public messages concerning their products. We designed a trade show display for them as well. This New Mexico based company will continue to grow, and we understand the importance of guarding and building their brand to continue the forward push and integration of all their marketing messages and materials.
Patriot Outdoors
Patriot Outdoors is a unique new outdoor sports venue located in Clovis, New Mexico.
Opened in August 2006, Patriot Outdoors offers a wide range of activities, including firearms ranges, trap and skeet shooting, paintball, rock climbing, sales, rentals and training.
Currently, XPRT Creative is providing copy writing, usability testing and SEO recommendations for the Patriot Outdoors site. We also design and prepare copy for advertising materials for Patriot Outdoors including billboards, posters, postcards, ads, promotional items and more.
Taco Box
Taco Box is a tex-mex fast food chain currently with stores located in southeastern New Mexico. The client wanted a very simple site, and a much-needed face lift from the old site. The form for people to sign up for the Boxpitality Club The restaurants were renovated three years ago, and now the site better matches the feel of the inside of the restaurants. We also created the print version of the menu, and designed a postcard to announce the site launch to customers.

Motivation-N-More
Tom Hughes is a Motivational Speaker who publishes motivational books, directs "Yes I Can!" Camps and Clinics and writes a weekly newsletter called Motivational Moments. Tom's projects included branding—creation of a logo for his company and for his newsletter, and a site that can not only speak to his credibility as a coach and motivational speaker, but also to give solid information concerning his motivational speaking, basketball camps and coaching resources and motivational products. His site is a small e-commerce site where customers can purchase his books and other products online. His site also contains a newsletter interface which allows him to easily manage subscribers, create newsletters and e-mail newsletters to subscribers, without him having to know anything about HTML or updating web pages. We also advised Tom how to progress in his branding efforts with his other publications.
Currently, we track Tom's site statistics and make recommendations for site upgrades and changes based on those statistics. We also assist with copy writing when necessary.
Personal Note: If you're interested at all in finding a solid basketball shooting camp or basketball shooting clinic, or looking for a motivational speaker to speak to your group, we highly recommend you contact Tom. He's good people.
City of Portales
The City of Portales is located in rural southeastern New Mexico. XPRT Creative needed to create a site that showed the personality and friendliness of Portales without the city appearing too "rural." This site contains dynamic menus and a rotating photo on the front page, and is hosted on a microsoft server. For this site, we also created a calendar program which allows the city to update their calendar events without needing to know HTML. The calendar program is easily installed and comes with a comprehensive help menu.
New Mexico Ag Expo
Hosted at the Roosevelt County fairgrounds in Portales, New Mexico, the New Mexico Agriculture Exposition has been popular for the agricultural community since its inception in 1992. The NM Ag Expo web site needed to show a more professional view of the popular event, and yet stay true to the expo's rural roots. Using photos from previous years' events, we created this site to "stretch" to the size of the viewing browser, so no matter what size monitor or window viewers use, the site is assured to not only fill the screen, but also retain the solid design. This site is maintained by the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce staff members.
Parmer County Community Hospital
Just because you're a rural hospital does not mean you don't provide above board medical care. In developing this website, the XPRT team had the challenge to present a modern, professional look to show not only the professionalism and quailty of the medical staff, but also how this insitution is continually serving their patients. In addition, it was important to be true to the rural roots of the hospital. With a rotating testimonials section, a front page news rotater, and automated news releases admin section, PCCH is able to provide information to their local area, patients, staff and those looking to relocate to the area.
